I’ve gone ahead and made a few items using the techniques in the book. I plan on having these for sale at the Book Launch & Exhibit, coming up in May. A few statement necklaces, some Steps of Light pendants, and variants on the Simple Bead Earrings.
In fact, I used the colour examples from the text – and some that I shot but never made it into the book – to make the statement pieces.
A few pairs of earrings – plenty of colours and shapes.
I really do love colour – the Steps of Light pendants are an excellent way to play!
And I had great fun picking out firepolished glass beads to match the various colours in this labradorite:
